Carers' Information

Every time we talk to carers, one message comes across loud and clear - we need easily accessible information.

Because carers are often isolated at home, it is not easy to have access to the information we need - and to communicate with other carers.

We hope that this website will give carersaccess to the information they need, when they need it..

Services For Carers

This is our directory of organisations offering support to carers. You can search for a particular organisation, or for a type of service provided for example:

respite care

holidays

support groups

information and advice on benefits

health care

disability adaptations

childcare

Have Your Say

The Have Your Say section includes a Carer To Carer notice board. This is a notice board on which you can post your comments, questions, tips, suggestions - all to be shared with other carers.

Information In Other Languages

Carers UK has produced basic information for carers that has been translated into Chinese, Gujerati, Bengali, Arabic and other languages on the Multikulti website. To access this information, click here.
