We

We

Carers
Allowance
It
is nearly always worth claiming Carers Allowance
(formally Invalid Care Allowance)
if you are entitled to do so, because even if you
are not eligible for this allowance you could still
receive an additional weekly £25.10 on your
Income Support or the Minimum Income Guarantee payments.
Or you might be able to pay considerably less on
your rent or council tax. And if your circumstances
or the benefit rules have changed you may now qualify
for these benefits for the first time. Please do
get advice on this from an independent specialist.
